I Hate The Devil

Have you ever bought something that turned out to be a real piece of Junk? Not too long ago, I purchased a car that turned out to be a real lemon. It wasn't long before I finally had to say it, "I hate this stupid car!" Much like a really bad purchase, many people buy into the lies that the devil sells. It is only after the purchase has been made that the purchaser realizes the pain and consequences that soon follow. Having seen firsthand the devastation caused by a life of sin, my soul cries out from its depths; “I hate the devil! He is a liar.” I hope that as you listen to Simeon Young’s message “I Hate the Devil,” you will find a new hatred for Satan. Above all, I hope you find a new love for Jesus Christ who delivers to the utmost.

Understanding the Word

One of the most unfortunate things about today's Christian is that they do not have a strong root in the Word of God. It is a known fact that many Christians have never even read the Bible all the way through. This should be a top priority for every child of God. The Word of God is our roadmap and if we do not have a map to go by, we might not reach our destination. This week the Casting Truth Broadcast is back with Understanding the Word In order to know what we believe we must go to the source. Now is not the time to let others tell us what the bible says, we must find out for ourselves. Study to show thyself approved.

What Must I do to be Saved?

This week we have a really great message by Brother Priddy entitled, "What must I do to be Saved?" It is a wonderful message that outlines the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When many people think of the Gospel, they only think about the four books written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; however, the Gospel is the "Good News" that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and was resurrected. Jesus asked us to obey the Gospel. This might seem to be an odd request, but in the context of what the Gospel is, we can see that it is not impossible. We must die through repentance, be buried in the waters of baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and be resurrected by receiving the Holy Ghost. See Acts 2:38. I hope that this week’s message blesses you.

I left the last sermon on line for a couple of weeks, because I really think it is a good message that is needed in this hour. This next message is a message that I heard when I was around fifteen years old. I have always remembered it, and I hope that once you hear it you will always remember it too. It's Been A While

It has been a while since our last post, and I apologize for the hiatus. I am doing something a little different here at the Cast, primarily because our expenses have overwhelmed us here for the moment. None the less, I believe that you will be blessed by our new sermon of the week selection that we will be adding to our blog, and to our radio link. The first sermon is by Reverend George Glass Sr., and happens to be one of my all time favorites, it is entitled, “Word Magnified above the Name.”

I really hope that you enjoy these messages; they will be selected from sermons past and present. I know they will bless you as much as they have blessed me.
